Summer
on the Thames.

A celebration made for
long summer light.
For a milestone birthday, the setting needed to feel unmistakably London while allowing the evening to remain relaxed, generous and full of movement.
Aboard Sunborn London, one hundred guests were welcomed with signature drinks before moving between the yacht’s elegant interior and open-air deck.
With the Thames alongside them and the city unfolding beyond the rail, the venue became part of the celebration from the moment guests arrived.
Between the city
and the water.
The deck was prepared for an easy first hour: drinks in hand, space to reconnect and uninterrupted views across the Royal Docks.
The transition between inside and out shaped the pace of the evening, allowing guests to follow the light and the atmosphere naturally.

The evening found
its rhythm.
A bespoke swing installation created a playful focal point, while showgirl performances brought a more theatrical energy to the room.
As daylight softened, the programme moved towards DJ music and a livelier final chapter—without losing the warmth and ease of the opening reception.
the evening moving.
Bowl food and canapés were served throughout the celebration, giving guests the freedom to circulate between the deck, the bar and the entertainment.
Food, drinks and performance were coordinated around one continuous flow rather than a formal seated programme.

The city stayed
close.
From the first drinks in the sunshine to music after dark, the experience remained connected to its setting: a summer celebration suspended between London and the water.
